Mayor   of Jericho received Mr.  Hussam BAIDAS WB expert of energy affairs, Mr. Nayef KHASHAN from Jerusalem Electricity Co, Mr. Falah DMERI from Energy Authority   where The mayor of Jericho appreciated conducting solar energy study as such project will participate in making real development in Jericho and Jordan Valley as the region enjoys benefits that fit to the potential for the project to provide the industrial projects that will start with electricity.

Mr. Mayor added that the project will assist the steadfastness of Palestinian citizens by offering the economical factors that depend on electricity.

The expert of Energy Affairs Mr. Hussam BAIDAS mentioned that a Swiss Team will make four months make a study then to search for donation to implement the project. Swiss Experts wished to.Swiss Experts expressed hope to the success of the project  and to be implemented to bring benefits to the entire region
